❤️ Happy Anniversary to our lovely Mama and her wonderful husband, Sayed.

Insha’Allah a lifetime of wedded bliss, happiness and love. May God continue to bless your beautiful union for many more years to come. ❤️

What is summer to you? Summer to me is sand at my feet, waves crashing, a light breeze and a warm sun between a few clouds. Summer to me is my nephew’s glee when we bonded at the beach just him and I, chasing waves, picking up shells and laughing our hearts out for no apparent reason.

Here’s to a wonderful season and a happy August, peeps! 😍

Last night’s view from our home at 9pm. I didn’t even adjust the lighting in any of the pictures, just zoomed in to reflect the lights from the last sliver of the sun’s rays and the street lights by the beach.

Can’t help but love my city! 😍

Eid Mubarak!!

Eid is here peeps! May it be a day filled with joy as we celebrate a new beginning with our loved ones and community at large.

Just because Ramadan has come to a close, we don’t return just to our old ways. What have you learned this past month and carry it forward with you. Know that you didn’t just detox physically, but spiritually too.

May God accept your fasts, prayers and zakat… May God bless you and yours with a joyous and delightful Eid… ameen.

From our family to yours, Eid Mubarak!!

Sometimes when you just take a moment to appreciate your surroundings, a beautiful blue jay will come to appreciate you. And allow you to capture it’s beauty. 🐦

The Castro Theatre is one of the oldest and historical theatres here in San Francisco. In one of the most vibrant and colorful districts of the city, it only makes sense that this iconic theatre showcases colorful, thoughtful and beautiful works from local to global film makers.

I’ve come here many times to check out foreign films and film festivals over the years before moving abroad. Since moving back, I’ve been anxious to watch a screening here again. Most recently, I’ve watched movies during the Arab Film Festival and have not left disappointed.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful theatre for a movie buff to appreciate here in the city than I have at the Castro Theatre. I can’t wait to go back!

Quick Beef Ramen Noodle Bowl

Whipped up a quick homemade ramen bowl and loved it. Simple: sliced up leftover steak, chopped fresh garlic, tomatoes and some chilli flakes. Tossed them with some ramen noodles after they cooked like pasta for about 5-7 minutes and boom, dinner!

These noodles I got dry, easy to make and tastes amazing with almost anything I come up with. 😋🤤
