What is summer to you? Summer to me is sand at my feet, waves crashing, a light breeze and a warm sun between a few clouds. Summer to me is my nephew’s glee when we bonded at the beach just him and I, chasing waves, picking up shells and laughing our hearts out for no apparent reason.

Here’s to a wonderful season and a happy August, peeps! 😍

Last night’s view from our home at 9pm. I didn’t even adjust the lighting in any of the pictures, just zoomed in to reflect the lights from the last sliver of the sun’s rays and the street lights by the beach.

Can’t help but love my city! 😍

Market Street, Forrest Hill, Twin Peaks and the clouds crossing above San Francisco. Captured this view yesterday from my office building’s eighth floor after a multitude of meetings.
Happy Thursday, peeps!

25 December 2018: Throwback to another drive by photography! Believe it or not, I was able capture the city in holiday lights as we drove across the upper deck of the Bay Bridge. Only took several attempts with a five minute window (for once there wasn’t much traffic on the bridge) before I was able to get this shot but totally worth it.

And no, I was not driving, safety first and always.

The Castro Theatre is one of the oldest and historical theatres here in San Francisco. In one of the most vibrant and colorful districts of the city, it only makes sense that this iconic theatre showcases colorful, thoughtful and beautiful works from local to global film makers.

I’ve come here many times to check out foreign films and film festivals over the years before moving abroad. Since moving back, I’ve been anxious to watch a screening here again. Most recently, I’ve watched movies during the Arab Film Festival and have not left disappointed.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful theatre for a movie buff to appreciate here in the city than I have at the Castro Theatre. I can’t wait to go back!
